Darilyn Burtley is an actor, vocalist, and multidisciplinary performer working across television, film, theatre, and live entertainment. Her screen credits include a co-star appearance on NBC’s Chicago P.D. and a guest starring role in Showtime’s The Chi, with a performance style grounded in emotional specificity, strong physicality, and commanding presence.
On stage, Darilyn most recently led the Second North American Tour of TINA – The Tina Turner Musical in the title role. Her theatre credits also include The Light in the Piazza and Jesus Christ Superstar at Lyric Opera of Chicago, Holiday Inn at Drury Lane Theatre, Song of Paradise at Chicago Shakespeare Theater, productions with Porchlight Music Theatre, and VHS Christmas Carol with StarKid Productions.
Her work as a vocalist has taken her from major theatrical stages to international live entertainment, including featured performances with Norwegian Cruise Line. Equally at home in dramatic storytelling and high-impact musical performance, Darilyn brings vocal power, athleticism, glamour, and a distinctly leading-lady presence to her work.

Raised in Chicago’s rich musical landscape, Darilyn developed a deep connection to music at an early age. Her artistry has since grown far beyond any single genre, with a vocal range that moves comfortably across rock, pop, soul, country, classical, opera, and musical theatre.
Whether performing on stage, on screen, or in concert, Darilyn brings a blend of musicality, dramatic depth, physicality, and commanding presence to every project. Her work is rooted in storytelling first—using voice, movement, and character to create performances that feel emotionally immediate and unmistakably alive.
Beyond performance, Darilyn is expanding her work as a producer and creative director, developing original live entertainment, music, and multidisciplinary projects under her own creative banner.
She is currently open to select acting, performance, producing, and creative collaborations.
